Great flexibility for contract extractions

Our extraction plants for toll manufacturing with varying capacities from 50–16,000 liters guarantee a maximum degree of flexibility. Scale-up fro pilot scale to industrial production is routine business at NATECO2. In addition to extraction, the CO2-technology also offers the possibility for fractionation, deodorization or decontamination of natural substances.

Our CO₂ plants for contract extraction

All our plants for contract extraction are situated centrally at NATECO2 as self-contained independent units. The flexible plant size means that we can deal with quantities of raw materials varying in amounts from some 100 kg in pilot scale up to several 1,000-ton batches. Per year we process over 10,000 tons of hops and several 1,000 tons of other natural substances for our customers in a shift operation. The whole process runs fully automatically, is monitored and documented and guarantees absolute safety and traceability. In addition, our plant technology allows our customers extraction processes under maximum pressures of up to 1,000 bar, and that, uniquely, from research up to production scale. For the first time substances such as Astaxanthin, vitamin K and long-chain omega-3 fatty acids can be extracted gently and economically using this highest pressure extraction technology.

All our plants are equipped with two separators and thus offer the possibility of fractioning.
